- Phoksundo Lake
Phoksundo lake is situated in the She Phoksundo National Park of Nepal in Dolpa District at an elevation of 3611.5 m (11849 ft) above sea level. It is the deepest lake of Nepal comparing the average depth among all lakes in Nepal, but also Rara lake is up to 167 m deep in some region.
Maximum depth of Lake: 145 m (476 m) - Fewa Lake:
Fewa lake is located at the beautiful city Pokhara of Kaski District Nepal. It is the only lake in Nepal where the temple is in the central part of the lake. Fewa lake is the most visited lake in Nepal. This lake is the semi-natural freshwater lake formerly called Baidam Tal. Fewa lake reflects the shadow of Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Mountains in its water.

Rara lake is located in Mugu and Jumla districts of Nepal and is the largest and deepest freshwater lake in Nepal. Rara Lake lies at an altitude of 2,990 m (9810 ft) above sea level

Average depth= 100 m (330) - Begnas Lake: Begnas lake is another freshwater lake located at Kaski disctrict, Pokhara Nepal. Begnas lake is the third largest lake in Nepal.

Tilicho lake is located in Manang District of Nepal. It is the lake found in the world's highest altitude with an elevation of 4919 meters (16138 ft) above the sea level.
