Hello, in this post I will tell about the AUTO CAD design shortcut commands which are very helpful while using AutoCAD. These shortcuts help you to do the task faster. Though all things can be done from menu, setting, properties etc, it will be really good if you do by using commands. Here are some keyboard shortcut commands:
Esc = To cancel the selection
Enter= To complete the selection
P= draws point
L= draws line
XL= draws a construction line
PL=draws polyline
ML= to draw multiline
EL= to draw an ellipse
REC= to draw rectangle or square
POL= to draw a polygon of n number sides
SPL= to draw spline for plotting graph (Curve)
TR= to trim the objects
EX= to extend one object to another object/to join two objects.
SC= to resize object (to increase or decrease scale ratio)
PR= Properties
D= Dimension
Un= to set the units setting
OS or F3= object snap
F4= 3D OSNAP
F7= grid mode
F8= Ortho mode
